Rambling Thoughts... Good points, but embarrassing, not really. The US has been lying to the American people and a Nastyland nation for most of its existence, and certainly since the end of WW2. As Gore Vidal said paraphrasing, 'the primary cultural contribution to the world from the United States is advertising' manipulating the people through the media and repeating new tide, new tide, new tide... selling Goebbels' big lie better than he did.
All those idiots waving Ukrainian Flags in March of 2022, should have told any thinking American this, advertising works. Embarrassed... not in DC. And if you think you have a say in who gets to be the next president. Whistling Dixie, I'm afraid. The game is rigged, with the odds 99 to 1 and you're the 1. At least not without a revolution (hopefully peaceful, and unlikely)
